Since obtaining the Zhundong Circulation New District in 2019, Tuha Oilfield has vigorously implemented large-scale exploration and efficient development, with its production output on a continuous upward trend. In September 2023, the daily output of crude oil increased from 28 tons at the end of 2019 to 1,000 tons. In June 2025, after the daily output exceeded 1,500 tons, the new district faced multiple bottlenecks such as technology and efficiency in increasing production, and the daily crude oil output hovered around 1,500 tons.

In March this year, Tuha Oilfield made a strategic deployment to increase production and improve efficiency, and the on-site command post for exploration and development in Zhundong was stationed in the Zhundong New District. The breakthrough team conducted a comprehensive inspection of problem oil Wells in major blocks such as Kangtan, Jifu and Shatan, and took measures to release production capacity. After sand flushing and other operations, the daily output of well Kangtan 001H increased by 60%. After the implementation of gas lift oil recovery, the daily output of crude oil has doubled compared to before the gas lift. After the success of the Kangtan 001H well, the breakthrough team screened out 25 key Wells for treatment. Currently, measures have been implemented in 20 Wells, increasing production capacity by 81 tons in total.

The Zhundong New District is reconfiguring a series of unconventional technologies to activate the production capacity of oil Wells. After a large number of simulation tests, the production parameters of Well Fu 4801H were systematically optimized, and the daily crude oil output increased by 3.6 times. Up to now, such measures have been applied in five Wells in the Kangtan block, and each well has shown results, with a daily oil increase of 154 tons and a steady decline in water cut.

The Zhundong New District has implemented the "Three Lines and Four Zones" working method, ranking all oil Wells based on their input-output benefits and classifying them into four types: high-efficiency, efficient, marginal, and ineffective Wells. It has adopted a case-by-case governance approach for each well. After more than a month of efforts, the number of high-efficiency Wells and benefit Wells has increased by 1 and 6 respectively. By implementing measures such as gas lift oil extraction to increase production, the Zhundong New District has significantly boosted crude oil output, achieving a "triple jump" in daily crude oil production to over 100 tons within a month.
