Wenzhou Supertech supplies liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump the LPGP-65. This centrifugal multistage pump features horizontal construction with 6 stages, mechanical seal without cooling, and a pre-compression turbine at the suction end for low NPSH applications. It delivers high flow rate and high pressure, making it a reliable solution for LPG transfer needs.
The liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump is a centrifugal flow-channel pump with horizontal design and 6 stages. It adopts mechanical seal without external cooling. Equipped with a pre-compression turbine at the suction end, this liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump performs excellently under low NPSH conditions, offering high flow rate and high pressure.
The pump consists of four main components: support section, drive section, bearings, and sealing components. The support section uses tie bolts to clamp the inlet support frame, front guide vane sleeve, guide vane baffle, rear guide vane sleeve, outlet connector, outlet end cover, and outlet support frame together to form the working chamber. The drive section consists of the drive shaft, front-stage impeller, copper impeller, and parallel key – the shaft drives the impeller through the key to generate centrifugal force. The bearings include front guide vane sleeve bearings, single-direction thrust ball bearings, and rolling bearings. The sealing components are made up of O-rings and mechanical seals. The parameter is as follow.

Structural Feature
This liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump features horizontal design with 6-stage impellers, delivering high head and large flow output. The mechanical seal requires no additional cooling system, simplifying installation and maintenance. The pre-compression turbine at the suction end effectively reduces NPSH requirements, ensuring stable operation even under poor suction conditions. With compact structure and smooth operation, this liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump is suitable for continuous heavy-duty service..
Applications
This liquefied petroleum gas multistage pump is suitable for cylinder filling, pumping LPG from above-ground storage tanks, and tanker truck loading and unloading. It handles a variety of media including LPG, kerosene, diesel, and other liquids.
Precautions
1.A 100-mesh or finer strainer must be installed at the pump inlet to prevent debris from entering and causing damage.
2.The pump must be primed before startup – all air must be expelled and the pump filled with liquid. Failure to do so will cause overheating, vibration, and dry running, which may damage the pump or lead to equipment failure.
3.The motor rotation direction must be checked before startup.
4. Avoid prolonged operation with the discharge valve closed, as this will shorten the pump's service life.
FAQ
Q1: Why does the multistage pump not operate?
A1: Check the motor. If fine, inspect the pump body for jamming – foreign objects or unbalanced tension on the 6 tie bolts.
Q2: Why does the pump vibrate heavily during operation?
A2: Check alignment between motor and pump – verify mounting nuts alignment and center height consistency.
Q3: How to fix leakage from the multistage pump?
A3: Check mechanical seal (damage or incorrect height) and inspect pump body (cracks or worn O-rings).
