This LPG multistage pump is a centrifugal flow-channel pump with horizontal 6-stage design. It adopts mechanical seal without external cooling. Product Structure

This lpg 6 stage centrifugal pump consists of four main sections: support, drive, bearings, and seals. The support section comprises the inlet support frame, outlet support frame, front guide vane sleeve assembly, guide vane baffle, guide vane sleeve assembly, outlet connector, cover, and bearing housing – secured by tie bolts clamping all stages together to form the working chamber. The drive section consists of the shaft, front-stage impeller, copper impeller, and parallel key. The bearings include front guide vane sleeve bearings, guide vane sleeve bearings, and rolling bearings. Seals are made up of O-rings and mechanical seals.

Working Principle

This lpg 6 stage centrifugal pump operates on the centrifugal force principle. The high-speed impeller blades spin the liquid and throw it outward, creating flow. Before startup, the pump and piping must be fully primed with liquid to establish a vacuum state. As the impeller rotates, liquid is flung outward by centrifugal force, creating a low-pressure zone at the impeller center. Atmospheric or hydraulic pressure then pushes more liquid from the source into the pump, enabling continuous transfer.

Applications

This lpg 6 stage centrifugal pump is suitable for cylinder filling, pumping LPG from above-ground storage tanks, and tanker truck loading and unloading. It handles media such as LPG, kerosene, diesel, and similar light hydrocarbons.

Precautions

A 100-mesh or finer strainer must be installed at the pump inlet.

The pump must be primed before startup – fill with liquid and expel all air to avoid dry running.

Check motor rotation direction before startup.

Avoid prolonged operation with the discharge valve closed.
